Zirconia Implant Used to Fix Failed Root Canal

Patient presented with a missing tooth #8 caused by a failed root canal. Patient was referred to Dr. Richard Nejat to fix defects caused by failed root canal and prior implant. Hard and soft tissue grafting was performed to build up the soft tissue and bone in order to use the prior dental implant that was inserted improperly. The grafted area helped support the existing implant and have an aesthetic outcome. The prior implant was left and a Zirconia abutment was attched.
