Gum Recession Due to Brushing Too Hard

Patient presented with exposed root on #10-14 due to abrasion from bushing too hard in that area. A connective tissue graft procedure was needed to treat the exposed root. The lack of attached gingiva lead to root sensitivity, increased inflammation, and uncontrolled bone loss and tooth loss. A connective tissue graft was performed to prevent inflammation and decrease root sensitivity. During the procedure, soft tissue was removed from the palette of the mouth and sutured over the exposed tooth root.
