We have been placing implants and treating periodontal disease across the Tristate area since 1998. In that time the most useful thing a prospective patient can read is not what we say about our work, but what patients say after they have lived with the result.
Everything on this page comes directly from Google. We do not write reviews, we do not edit them, and we do not screen patients before asking. What you see below is the record from all four of our offices.
What Patients Tell Us Most Often
Reading several hundred reviews, the same handful of themes come up again and again. Here is what patients raise most, and where to read more about each.
Being Told Implants Were Not Possible
A significant proportion of the patients we see have already been told somewhere else that they do not have enough bone, or that their case is too complicated. In most of those cases we find a path forward, whether through bone grafting, sinus augmentation or graftless zygomatic implants where the bone volume genuinely will not support a conventional approach.
Leaving With Teeth The Same Day
We have been placing immediate-load implants since 1998. Patients are consistently surprised that they walk out with a fixed bridge in place rather than a removable denture, and that is usually the detail they write about.

Anxiety About The Procedure
Most people arriving for implant surgery have been putting it off, sometimes for years. Comfort during and after treatment is the theme patients mention more than any other.
Understanding The Cost Before Committing
Implant treatment is a considerable investment and patients want the number, and the reasoning behind it, before they agree to anything. We set out what is included at the consultation rather than after treatment has started.

Being Looked After Afterwards
An implant case does not end when the bridge goes in. We follow patients long term, and reviews written a year or more after treatment tend to be the ones about follow-up care.
Where Else You Can Read About Us
Google is not the only place patients write about our practice. Our periodontists each hold their own profiles on the medical directories, which is often a better place to read about an individual clinician than a practice-level listing.
You can also see treated cases in our before and after gallery, and read about each of our periodontists on their own pages: Dr. Richard Nejat, Dr. Daniel Nejat, Dr. Eugenie Lee, Dr. Annemarie Olga Athanasios and Dr. Daniel Schinazi.
How We Handle Reviews
A short statement, because patients reasonably wonder whether what they are reading has been curated.
- We never offer a discount, gift or any other benefit in exchange for a review
- We never ask patients how they feel first and then direct only the happy ones to Google
- We do not remove or hide negative reviews, and we do not have the ability to
- When we reply, we never confirm whether somebody was a patient or discuss any clinical detail, because that would breach their privacy
If something went wrong in your care, we would far rather you called the office and gave us the chance to put it right. Reach us on (347) 493-2439.
Leave A Review
If we have treated you, a few sentences about your experience genuinely helps the next person deciding whether to book. Choose the office you were treated at.
Please review the office you actually attended. Google filters reviews left for a location the reviewer has not visited, so a review on the wrong listing helps nobody.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these reviews verified?
They are pulled live from our Google Business Profiles. Google requires a signed-in account to post and applies its own filtering. We cannot edit, reorder or remove what appears.
Are the same periodontists at every office?
Our five periodontists work across the practice in different locations on different dates. When you book, we will tell you which of them will be treating you and where.
Can I speak to a former patient?
We cannot share patient contact details, since that would breach their privacy. What we can do is show you treated cases similar to yours at your consultation, including the ones that were difficult.
Ready To Talk To Somebody?
Consultations are available at all four offices. We will look at your case, tell you honestly what is possible, and give you the cost before you commit to anything.
