Why we're the Best Choice for Dental Implants in NYC & NJ

Most implant centers offer a procedure. We offer a complete system — precision technology, specialist-only care, and a proven track record of outcomes that other practices don't measure, let alone publish. Here's exactly what sets the best periodontists in the Tristate area apart.

Credentials & Outcomes

What 100% prosthetic success actually means

Most implant centers talk about implant success rates. We talk about prosthetic success — and there's an important difference. An individual implant can occasionally fail to integrate with the bone, and when that happens, it can be removed and replaced. What we are proud of is something most practices don't track or guarantee: no patient of ours has ever been left without a fixed bridge in their mouth. You always have teeth. You never go back to a removable denture.

That is our commitment, and it's why we follow our patients long-term — not just to collect data, but because we genuinely care whether your investment is still serving you years from now.

25 years experience

25+ years of same-day implant experience

We have been placing immediate-load implants and restoring full arches since 1998 — long before the procedure became widely available. Over that time we have worked through every generation of the technology, from the earliest same-day protocols through to All-on-4, All-on-6, guided surgery, and our own proprietary Smile in a Day technique. When we recommend an approach, we have decades of real patient data to back it.

That depth of experience is also why we know what doesn't work. If we don't recommend a particular protocol, it's because we've tried it, tracked the outcomes, and found something better.

The full story of how we developed our protocols — including early collaboration with All-on-4 pioneer Dr. Paolo Malo and the development of Smile in a Day — will be available on our Our Story page.

Second opinions & complex cases

"I was told implants weren't possible for me."

We hear this often. And in almost every case, we find a path forward. Bone loss, previous implant failures, compromised health history — these are challenges our team is specifically trained to navigate. Before we form an opinion, we ask questions: What protocol was used? What medications were you on? How were the implants positioned? What we find is usually that something went wrong in the previous treatment — not that implants can't work for you.We are not cowboys. We base our decisions on science, on your specific anatomy, and on treatment options we know produce predictable results — because we stand behind everything we do. If a case genuinely requires a specialist we don't have in-house, we know who to refer to. But that situation is rare. We have seen some of the most complex cases in the region, and we can almost always help.

Severe or extreme bone loss

Failed implants from other practices

Overdenture complications

All-on-4 and All-on-6 (Three-on-Six)

Zygoma implants (including quad Zygoma)

Pterygoid implants

Full-arch on compromised bone

Complication repairs

Already had implants that failed? That doesn't mean implants won't work for you — it means something went wrong that we can likely identify and correct. Patients with failed overdentures, failed mini implants, or broken bridges come to us regularly. In many cases we can place additional implants and convert an unstable restoration into a fixed All-on-4 bridge — often at a similar overall cost.

Technology & surgical technique

The tools that make outcomes predictable

A major fear for implant patients is not knowing what to expect — whether the result will look natural, whether it will last, whether the process will be painful. The technology we use is specifically chosen to answer those fears with data, not reassurances. What we show you before treatment is what we aim to deliver. What we place is guided by your precise anatomy. And how we place it minimises trauma so your body heals faster and more predictably.

Loocid Drills and Boneblade technology

Our osteotomy technique uses Loocid Drills and Boneblade instruments, which generate significantly less heat than conventional implant drills. Heat during drilling is a primary cause of bone cell damage — reducing it means less biological trauma, better healing conditions, and faster recovery. Patients consistently report little to no discomfort after surgery. This is a biologically minded technique most practices in the region have not adopted.

Implant systems — chosen for the case, not the brand

We work with the leading implant systems — Nobel Biocare, Straumann, and Dentsply Sirona — and select based on what gives the best outcome for each individual case. In practice, we find ourselves reaching for Dentsply Sirona most frequently for full-arch and complex cases, where we have consistently seen stronger results with their system. The choice is always clinical, never brand-driven.

We use Navident real-time surgical navigation alongside CBCT 3D imaging to plan and execute implant placement with exceptional accuracy. Your jaw, bone density, nerve pathways, and ideal implant angles are all mapped digitally before surgery begins — so every placement decision is guided by your actual anatomy, not estimated in the moment. The result is more precise positioning, reduced surgical risk, and more consistent outcomes across complex cases.

Photogrammetry — multiple systems, continuously refined

Photogrammetry captures the precise spatial relationship between implants and is critical for ensuring full-arch restorations fit accurately. We have invested in multiple photogrammetry systems over the years — including the iCam 4D, PIC scanner, and Micromapper — and have refined our workflow with each generation of the technology. We also use the Trios intraoral scanner as part of our digital impression workflow. The result is prosthetic fit data of a level most practices cannot achieve.

AI smile design — what you see is what you get

One of the biggest anxieties patients have is whether their final result will look natural. We use AI-assisted smile design to generate photorealistic visualisations of your expected outcome before treatment begins. This isn't a generic simulation — it's built around your face, your bone structure, and your clinical plan. When we show you what your smile will look like, we are showing you what we are aiming to deliver. Predictability is not a promise; it's built into our workflow.

In-house lab, CAD/CAM, and 3D printing

We have full coordination from surgery through to restoration, including an in-house digital lab with CAD/CAM design and 3D printing capability. This gives us direct control over the fit, function, and aesthetics of your final restoration — and the ability to work closely with your restoring dentist if you are a referred patient.

Graftless options — avoiding bone grafting where possible

Not every patient with bone loss needs bone grafting. Through tilted implant techniques, Zygoma implants, and pterygoid implants, we can often anchor full-arch restorations into existing bone structures — avoiding months of graft healing time and additional surgical procedures. This is a significant differentiator for patients who have been told they need extensive grafting before proceeding.

Our Protocol

Smile in a Day — our flapless, guided, same-day full-arch protocol

Developed in-house in the mid-2000s before anyone else was doing it, Smile in a Day combines flapless guided surgery with same-day provisional restorations. Minimal tissue trauma, reduced post-operative discomfort, and a fixed smile the same day as your surgery — for eligible patients.

Long-term care

We still see our first cases

Dental implants are a long-term investment. We treat them that way. Our patients aren't discharged after the final restoration — we follow up, we monitor, we check in. Some of our patients from the very first years of our practice are still coming in. That long-term relationship is how we have accumulated real outcome data, and it's what allows us to say with confidence that what we do works.

When something needs attention, we are here. We stand behind our work — not as a policy, but as a genuine commitment to the patients who trusted us.
